I mentioned last in my last post that I spent last weekend at a 2 day anniversary crop for my LSS. Part of the crop fee included 6 layout classes for My Minds Eye, a challenge layout for My Minds Eye and a mini album that I plan to give to my mom. I already posted the class and challenge layouts. In between all that, I also did 2 layouts of my own as well as 3 cards. I did the coloring for a 4th card, but just put the background together tonight. I want to go ahead and post all this this so hang tight, this will be a picture heavy post!
This one is done with with papers from the Surf's up collection from Carte Bella and Down by the Seashore from Fancy Pants, veneer from Studio Calico, flair from American Crafts and Recollection as well as Mist from HS Colorshine.
I was working so well with the with the Carta Bella and Fancy pants collections, I decided to try another in that line. This is Carta Bella Sea Mist/Vibrant sunshine from the beach boardwalk collection as a background (my photoshopping did not do the yellow justice), with a mix of Fancy Pants Down by the Sea Shore papers, mist from HS colorshine, arrow from Frecked Fawn, chipboard from MME, Sticker is from Simple Stories, Letter Stickers from MME, Flair and washi tape from Recollections and wood veneer from Studio Calico.
These are my Father's day cards. I colored and made them in between classes. They are a mix of various 6 x 6 pads that I have collected (Jillibean soup, Crate Paper and Echo Park) mixed with some arrows from Freckled Fawn ( I am really loving these) and enamel dots from MME.
This card was colored last weekend, but put together tonight. It's for a friend on her retirement. The sentiment is a cutfile from the silhouette store, papers from Jillibeen soup (a 6 x 6 pad), and May Arts ribbons.
Ok, that's it for me. Thanks for looking.
